Thank you! It's sad how many people today claim to be vampire fans and have no idea who he is. To me, Lestat is the birth of the modern vampire. He is what made them sensual, charming, handsome, and seductive, rather than the mindless monsters of the past. Of course, this is a little bit of a generalization, but the point still stands. Also, found your entry randomly by reading through the answers to this prompt, because I wanted to see how much respect the Brat Prince was getting. Not nearly enough! Someone needs to give these people a copy of The Vampire Lestat or Queen of the Damned.

Exactly! The lack of adoration Lestat is getting is just disgraceful. Especially since Tom Cruise played him in Interview with the Vampire. These people just don't know good vampire culture.
