A Hopeful Romantic
The love I hold inside,
Is written in my eyes.
A soul shining through two cyan irises,
Showing the world all I have to offer:
A pure heart and an enduring spirit-
Innocent but not naïve,
Worldly but not cynical,
Ready to join with another worthy of its affection,
Waiting for that special someone- a soul mate,
To share my hopes, dreams, & fears with,
Whose love will envelope my soul in a veil of sentimental tranquility.
His arms are my safe haven from the harsh realities of the world.
He assuages my worried mind and wipes the tears off my cheek.
My soul is elated by his smile-
And when our eyes meet, it is an unspoken expression of affection.
We are a match made in heaven,
Picked with care by God;
Although I have yet to find him, I keep faith that he’s out there-
My dream guy waiting for his dream girl,
But I don’t let this keep me from living my life and growing into a person I love,
Because you have to learn to love yourself, before you can love someone else or let them love you,
I only hope that I’m someone worth falling in love with…
