http://mptaylor.livejournal.com/13454.html?view=9614#t9614 Hi Michael,
I really enjoyed this poem, it has that feeling of 'victorian nonsense' with all your juxtaposing of ideas and images.
The line,
The pickled breath of a binge in a trough;
is brilliant!
Your use of words really create this repulsive image of a really bitter and sour old man...
I really enjoyed it, so different to what a lot of other people have written in creative responses!!

http://mathsnerd.livejournal.com/15648.html?view=34336#t34336 I really like how you are so open and brave about posting your poems, i always struggle with feelings of 'are they or aren't they good enough'.
I always enjoy reading your poems as they touch on subject matter that i am not necessarily familar with, and also on things that i haven't really though about!
I like the poem, 'The Blissful Cow'
it was just a really interesting take on what it is like, for a cow!
and yes that complacency in which they live in, oblivious to the world around them.
You have taken a mundane activity and turned it into something really special!
great job
