well at least i've had an uneventful pregnancy!
i swear, every time i promise to update more, more stuff happens!!
decemeber, my brother got heavier into drugs. pills mostley. he started stealing from everyone in the family. we got him to detox... for a little bit. then he got harder into them. stole a lot. really broke my parents down.
then on new years day my grandfather past away. he had a stroke 2 years ago, and he just went down hill from there. he had a big military funeral. with the flag folding, bag pipes, 21 gun salute. it was really emotional. especially with pregnancy hormones making everything magnified.
a few days later, my brother went away. my parents signed him up for this military school/rehab thing out in the middle of the desert. they had to hire transports to come get him. he was calm. and confesed he had started using the bad bad drugs. i miss him a lot. they're very strict over there. letter only once a week. we cant even see him for a few months. he'll be in till he's 18.
it really hurts knowing he wont be here for the birth of his neice. but if thats what it takes to get him sober, i cant really fight it.
my health hasnt been too good. i've been very weak the past few weeks. i even fainted at my doctors office wednesday. they sent me to labor and delivery at the hospital for observation. hooked up to a moniter for almost 4 hours. the baby is fine. but i was having contractions the whole time! after a few uncomfortable pelvic checks, i'm not dialated. so no baby coming yet! but whats wronge with me? anemia.... thats the only answer they could come up with. so double the iron... not that i'm already taking iron! no more pooping for me. they told me to consider going off work. which i probably will in a week or so. its getting too much.
i'm 35 weeks, and all baby. she's so heavy, my belly looks like its going to explode!!! my cat mickey wont leave my side.

i also had my baby shower jan 24th. it was huge! maybe 100 people came and left all day. me and colin got absolutley everything we needed. everything!
all thats left to do now is decorate the nursery. we're still living with my parents, but its kinda mutual needing. my mom really needs me here for support. and we need a chance to save more money. my family is wanting to stay close together right now. and colin has been a great help to everyone. i'm lucky to have him, and to have such wonderful parents.
