On clearing Rowan's bedroom it was discovered that she has been writing songs and stories. Being an 8 year old girl these are all about rainbows, ponies and pink, right?

I just walked into the living room and asked the kids to move the pumkpin masks to be told in no uncertain terms

"We can't! We're playing Tudor times and this is The plague and those are the bodies!"

Surely this isn't normal? :D

On the way home from school Beck told me he no longer believes that Father Christmas brings the presents. I was feeling a bit sad that my youngest has finally grown up when he continued

"....because Buddha brings them doesn't he."

Kai had a lesson about drugs in school yesterday. It went something like this:

Teacher: Can anybody name me any drugs?

Kai: Hash.

Teacher: Thank you Kai.

Kai: ......blow...draw...ecstacy....heroin....cocaine....
