Happy Belated Bob Marley Day!
I had a thought (but just the one) today at work:
I will actually perform better at college because of my father. On Milton, Chaucer, and Shakespeare alone, I've gained at least half a letter -- I pick-up on all the biblical allusions. Not your average Davids, Marys, and Lazari(?); oh no, friends, I cut my literary teeth on the stuff that makes for the most obscure references! Give me all the Joshuas, Sauls and Aarons 'ya got and I still calmor for more; Elijah! Uriah! Jezebel!! Yes, because of Dear-Old-Dad, I make connections you can't even fashion... A sane(ish) childhood seems mighty overrated, now, doesn't it?
