Summer lovin'.
So looking back to last week because I forgot to update, the BBQ with miss Mapalo and friends was really nice. We are kabob making experts and I love her to death. I think my ultimate goal in life is to throw dinner parties for my friends all the time...and breakfast...and lunch. I just love cooking in general, and cooking for others especially. I know, i'm so domestic sometimes. :D
So far this week has been mostly work, but Caroline and I did manage to stop at Blue Wasabi Sunday night for sushi and martini's. YUM! Friday Lorin, Erick, Caroline and I are planning to take the lightrail downtown to First Fridays just to wander around. It makes me a little sad each time we go down there lately because it's not at all what it used to be. I suppose all good things must come to an end.
I'm also super bummed because kickball (which was supposed to start this thursday) has been pushed back to July, ugh. I think I may also miss the first game because I believe it's the weekend i'm going to WA. Ohhhh well, I still can't wait even though it's going to be unbearably hot out.
I really want to take my nieces to a park to feed ducks. Haha. Are the ducks still around? I think they actually leave for the summer, gonna have to find out. My grandpa and I are supposed to work on my bike today, and tomorrow my uncle and I are hopefully going to the Phoenix Rock Gym to climb. I'm way excited, definitely making progress as far as family time is concerned. Maybe thursday night if Jay goes out of town for work I can get my grandma to make dinner with me. :)
