Title: I Still Remember
Characters: America, Britain
Challenge: Prompt: Anniversary
Bonus Words: promise, loss, gain, time
Rating: K
Summary: Little America remembers when Britain left to his country after a few years
A/N: A little rushed, but I got it done nonetheless! I love their brother-brother relationship because it’s so adorable. I’m too attached to that.

America sat on the kitchen table as he played with his toy soldiers and the large play house Britain had made him. He promised he would be a good boy and not cry when Britain left to his country, but when the time came, he ended up bawling and begging Britain not to go.

The loss of his brother’s company was hard at first, but he regained his strength by being able to handle it all. He was still a kid, but he was learning to be more independent and spirited, even if he was a little lonely.

‘It’s been seven years and he’s still not back,’ America thought as he kept playing. ‘Maybe he’ll come back some day.’

However, he put down the toys and began to think about Britain. He always welcomed him in the middle of the night when he had nightmares and let him sleep next to him and comforted him when he was scared. But he was way too dependent on him then. He didn’t have nightmares and if he was scared, he sucked it up and smiled mischievously, looking fear in the eye and continuing on as if there was nothing there.

Nevertheless, he found himself missing his brother. “Maybe if I write him a letter, he’ll get it and come back.”

After all, he was just a kid.

Summary: Britain and America celebrate the day they became brothers.
A/N: They’re too cute for their own good.

Britain awoke to a happy America. He was a bit surprised because the little one was staring at him with wide eyes and a smile, standing on his tip-toes to see his brother.

“Good morning, America,” Britain greeted with a tired tone.

“Hey, Britain! Do you know what day it is today?” America asked.

“Uh, Thursday?” he asked nervously. Oh, he promised himself that he wouldn’t forget his baby brother’s birthday!

“Yeah, but it’s a special Thursday. It’s been a year since you became my big brother,” America pointed out. “We should celebrate!”

The boy was so excited. After all, he had never thought he’d get someone like Britain to take care of him.

“Um, alright,” Britain said. “What would you like to do?”

“I don’t know, but it should be fun!”

Britain raised himself to sit properly. “How about…a nice lunch outside on a grassy hill?”

“What about at night?” America asked.

“You mean like a dinner party? Then, it would be at an early time, you know, so we don’t gain some weight and all,” Britain replied as he poked the boy’s tummy in a playful manner that made him giggle.

“Okay,” America said through his laughter.

“We’ll just be careful with those strangely feathered people so they won’t try to attack us, or something,” Britain said. He was going to start with his short lectures again.

“Aw, but it wouldn’t be a party if it was just you and me,” America said.

Britain looked at him again. “Oh, alright. After all, it really is for you since you wanted to celebrate. And if they don’t dine with us, it’s their loss.”

“Yay! C’mon, Britain, let’s go see what food to bring!”

Sometimes, Britain wondered if his brother did all of this for the sake of eating.

Title: The British-American Pact
Characters: America, Britain
Challenge: Prompt: Anniversary
Bonus Words: promise, loss, gain, time
Rating: T
Summary: America and Britain celebrate their anniversary. A-la-France style. Fem!America involved!
A/N: This is the only way I would be able to write US x UK. XD

America caressed Britain’s hair as he kissed her collarbone. Their breathing had returned to a steady rate and their perspiration caused them to get sticky, but they disregarded that and continued with their affectionate touches.

He had promised her an anniversary she would not forget and he always kept his word. However, she showed him that Americans could also give a good time.

America began to giggle.

“Did I hit a tickle spot, love?” he asked.

“Yes, and no,” she answered. “You don’t really look like the type that would have, or give, great sex.”

Britain smiled smugly and bit her neck. “I showed you, didn’t I?”

“Yeah. I gained some valuable info. Now I know how to make you scream,” America pointed out.

“Hey, now, that’s not fair. I learned a few other things I didn’t know about you. Like where your sensitive spots are.”

America blushed. “Ah, damn it, now you’re going to taunt me with that, aren’t you?”

“It’d be such a loss of I didn’t. But don’t worry; I won’t be so cruel.”

“Unless we’re in world conferences,” America said.

“But we’re not in a world conference. It’s far more special, don’t you think?”

“I guess so. If you believe having sex on your anniversary is special, then, totally.”

Britain kissed her lips. “Then, it’s extremely special.”
America smiled. “Then, happy anniversary.”

A/N: I had fun with these. :D Hope you all enjoyed!
