I don't understand how 78º -- which is an absolutely glorious temperature during the day! -- can feel so freaking unpleasant at night.
Mariners game last night was fun! Sure, the Mariners kinda kinda fell apart at the end (I understand they sort of have a habit of doing it) but there were some really sweet plays early on. It was the company game night, so we all had seats together, on the lower level off in left field, and it was exciting to be that close to the players. They seemed a lot more like people that way, instead of little figures that may as well be on a TV screen for all the immersion I feel when watching them. Plus there was free food and drinks, and we were sitting in the shade, and most of all I got to spend the evening with maxxim_huzzah, which was lovely.
We left halfway through the 9th inning, when the 1-1 tie became a 3-1 Yankee's lead, and actually ended the evening by taking a pedicab back to my place. I had never ridden one before, in Seattle or elsewhere, and it was a lot of fun! Our driver was very friendly, we had some lovely views as we sped along the waterfront as the sunset was finishing, and the fresh, cool air was absolutely perfect after such a hot day. What an unexpected pleasure. Way more fun than taking the bus would have been. And faster, too!
Today, of course, I was exhausted but hey! I made it through, and now it is the weekend. ♥ All is well.
After this I should be back on track. First, Day 6: Character who would probably be your rival.
Given that I want to date Spain, I suppose it would have to be Romano. I don't want anyone in Hetalia to consider me a rival, though. I just want to be frieeeeeeeeends!
