Although I appreciate your willingness to start the day early and with high energy, 5:30 in the fucking AM is a little bit extreme. And then, you don't even have the consideration to turn back off so I can go back to sleep for another few measly hours. Shame on you!

So, once I gave up on going back to sleep for a while, I started watching Bleach 64...
I totally planned on approaching this filler arc with an open mind. I mean, the anime has made other minor additions to the story that haven't made me cringe, so I had high hopes for this arc. It seems like they'e planning to have actual plot with actual villains, instead of a series of one-shots, and that's good. And I wholeheartedly approve of fanservice of the Ichigo, Renji, and Isshin varieties (see icon). And overall, the episode was pretty good.
Just.... Renji. Renji, staying with Urahara as if nothing is wrong, as if Urahara didn't totally almost get Rukia killed for dubious reasons? The hell!? I mean, have the writers even read the current manga arc? With Renji sitting outside the shop and glaring up a storm and just waiting for Urahara to show his face, and Urahara being all "ohohoho, zomg, no, kthxbai."? Was I the only one who figured Renji would be, all, you know, pissed? Cos if this is how much attention the writers are paying to the characters, then maybe I've overestimated this arc. Or maybe I just haven't give them enough a of a chance... I hope it's the latter.
Maah... either way, I want this arc to be over. I want them to get to the Vizards and Arrancar, damn it! Grimm-Jow! *flails*
