I felt so bad for Jared losing Harley... made me think about the fact one day my mastiff will die :'( They need to come up with the magic live-forever pill for dogs.

Much as I'm a dog person and prefer dog people, I can just see Cas being into cats. That aloof, unblinking staring thing they have going on... Cas can so relate. :)

The presents were all so perfect and thoughtful and now I can't stop smiling.

Also Castiel's horror over Zoe giving Sam a stick she had urinated on was hilarious. I can just imagine the 'humans are odd beyond all measure' running on instant repeat in his head until Dean explained it.

Figuring out what everyone would get everyone else was one of the parts I hated most about writing this fic! Argh! My family stopped celebrating Christmas years ago, so I've been blissfully free of having to come up with gift ideas, then I get the bright idea to write this fic. *slaps forhead*

I loved all the presents!! specially Cas's, though that may be because I'm Destiel bias, and the fact that Zöe's wasn't a watch at all <3

Cas's present was the only present that I thought of right away... it was really the reason I went 'oh, that's a cool idea! shit, now I have to write a Christmas fic to use it.'

And, of course, if I was writing a sequel, I couldn't ignore all the Sam/Zoe that was foreshadowed in Leap That Makes the Fall ;)
