Writing Sample: You can remember the tears easily because they rarely ever come. The tears of pain or sadness especially, you can't recall at the moment a time lately when you've cried in happiness. You never cried in joy when you found out that you were pregnant, instead neurotic about ever little detail; your caffeine, your stress, eating and sleeping. Instead you cried in sadness and for the pain of the loss, as you did when you lost Joy.
You cried after House had left; still in pain from Joy and feeling some hurt over his remark. You cried in confusion, not sure what he'd done but you either. You nearly cried after everything that had happened at the hospital, the hostage situation and House but instead you held onto the fact that he'd brought up your lack of a relationship, his hesitation when you'd asked if he wanted one. You're not sure if you do, you already have a list of reasons about why it wouldn't work but somehow, little moments like that give you hope. You don't cry.
