There's something very peaceful, despite the upcoming SACs it's in honour of, about sitting at one's desk, surrounded by handouts that say things like 'Analysing Context in Literature' and 'Marxist readings', sipping hot chocolate and contemplating the views and values within Beowulf. I love being a pretentious intellectual.
