Scentsy Update
I had my first party order today. All I did was took it to my old office, and all the girls flocked to it! I knew people loved candles and scents, but who knew! So, they ordered over $150 worth, so when I got home I just turned it into a "party" so I got the hostess rewards. ($16 worth of free stuff, and 2 1/2 priced items). Typically it's only 1 1/2 priced item, but they are doing a special in January where you get double. Nice. Glad I went there this week, and didn't put it off. So far I have one party booked in February, 3 more outside orders coming in, trying to book a party via my mom's group (whom I just met Tuesday night for the first time, just joined), and then I have another girl-friend who said she'd ask her neighbor is she wanted to do a joined party together (they share the rewards). We'll see if that pans out. I also have a display table booked at the Savvy Mommies consignment sale (one of the largest consignment sales in AZ) for March 6th & 7th. I love this stuff, I really do. One, it smells DELISH, and two, it sells itself. I am passionate about it, and I'm excited to make the most money possible.
My goal is to become director, by getting the largest customer base possible. My ultimate goal, though, is to make the most profit possible, by signing up the most consultants. I'm going to work on the Director goal first, and build my customer base. Then, once I feel confident enough that I could teach someone, and help them become a consultant, then I will work on that goal.
You all have read by ho-hum posts about how I feel I have failed at life (with 3 exceptions), well this is my re-start. I want to be a successful Scentsy consultant. I want to do well, and achieve great success at this. I am going to give it my all. Work hard, stay motivated, and think outside of the box. I've never been much of an entrepreneur, but here's my chance to become one. I'm very excited. It felt good entering in my first order today, and getting $84 (retail) worth of product for $25 also, but that's just a bonus. I can't wait to see how it feels to get my first commission check. (I need a Scentsy icon for Scentsy posts! Maybe I'll go do that now.)
