Logical. The deities, if they were able to keep us here forever, would be able to control the exits and entrances. Everything about this place functions on instability, except for two things. We arrive without warning and we leave without it too, returning to the precise time that we left.

They say you don't remember this place when you leave, so in that sense you are home for good the moment you leave.
