Forty-Sixth Summons: Flowers

 [Ai is back to normal, finally. She isn't human anymore. And it's a relief. You can find Ai in a few places today, just being herself.

A. The street is on fire.  ....okay no, it's not real fire and it's not the road. But a car parked on the street looks very much like it is on fire. Ai is practising her illusions.

This is much nicer than dwelling on the issues with the town.]]

[Totally normal. Just making a chain of flowers as she sings the usual song.]

Relaxing and listening. He's been hearing far too many creepy songs in the past few weeks.

Still, this is a part of Ai so he's going to listen.]]

[That was the end, but as she always does Ai simply starts the song over again. It's short so he's probably heard it a few times by now.]

Why do lovely flowers bloom from the cherry tree?

[[He'll wait until the next end of the song before giving a happy bark in her direction.]]

[She'll glance over at that.]

[[How do coyote's show they are happy with something. He tries to force his tail to wag... it doesn't really.

Well, telling someone you think their singing was nice is tough when you aren't a person. So he just sits.]]

[[That's a little... he doesn't know. Everyone pets him and at first he was iffy but he'd probably do the same in their shoes.

He tries giving those weird little coyote yips and barks that they do. He wonders if she can understand animals like Lucas can.

Just asking if she can understand him.]]

[Well she uses her companions as dolls when she's bored so he's lucky that it's just head pats.

And nope. Can't understand you doggy. But you are now getting a flower crown.]

[[Crown of flowers it is. Tries hard to resist urge to shake it off as he stands on all fours.

Well, he got mistaken for a girl coyote before, but he's pretty sure that girl never checked.

Hopefully this wouldn't make it worse.]]

Goes back to making another crown.]

[[Going to follow her around as she does so. Sporting her gift.

He did make her wear a silly paper hat once.]]

[Yup, which is why you have the crown now.

She makes another one and places it to the side before laying back in the bed of flowers. It's a nice day out and while it isn't home, it's nice to be surrounded by the familiar plants again.]

[[He'll wander around. All the flowers were interesting.

Then he sees something move, and he pounces!

The thing gets away but he freezes in place... why did he just pounce? He saw movement and he acted but... when did he pounce small rodents?

People don't do that.]]

[Clearly you haven't spent enough time with Kikuri and Aisling...wait never mind. People.

Ai has rolled over on her front and is watching him through the flowers.]
