[Doesn't notice her. Ai is just sitting there quietly, watching the people walk by bellow her.]

[She does it systematically. Picking on up, staring at it for a good long while then holding it above the fire and dropping it in.]

[[He doesn't want to interrupt, so he'll hobble his way around to wait silently behind her as she does that. Not sure if it's anything important yet.]]

[It isn't. It takes her a few more cranes for her to draw her attention away from the fire and glance over behind here.]

[Oh, those are cute! This elementary school girl will be passing by on one of her walks, a ridiculous looking mayfield-issued teddy bear tucked under her arm.

She'll stop and stare at the crane army, because she has no social skills.]

[Ai doesn't seem to notice. Her attention solely focussed on the paper as she folds it.]

[She walks up the pathway to Ai's house, and stops to nudge the little paper crane closest to her. Maybe they'll talk to her! ]

[Wandering the town, Minato stops to stare at a strange site (well, for a 1950's era town). Someone trying to fold a 1000 paper cranes. Did the girl have a wish?

He quietly approaches her, hands in pockets.]

[She doesn't seem to notice him. Her attention on the paper crane in her hands that she is just finishing.]

[Seeing that she's focused on her work, he decides not to talk and interrupt. However, there's some extra paper there. He crouches down and, taking a sheet, starts folding.]

[Finishes crane, puts aside....now you're the one being watched.]
