(no subject)
:Sunday - Airports, Ports & Setting Sail:
I got up at 4:30 a.m. & got ready. Got some breakfast and headed to the airport. We got there and boarded soon there after. There was this little girl, Lilly on our flight and she didn't phase at all. She was sooo cute. She ate beside me with her Mom & she kept reaching for me. So, I held her for a lil bit! And then, she was on our flight from Atlanta to Orlando, too but she was 3 sections back! :( We got to Atlanta and chilled for a lil bit before our flight to Orlando. The person who was suppose to sit on the other side of me, didn't show so I moved to his/her seat and Mom and I had TONS of room. I watched "my Wife & Kids" on the way there, haha. We got to Orlando and waited forever on our luggage and then got in our limo. We had about a 45 minute ride to PC which I slept to. When I woke up and saw the Disney "Wonder", it was georgous! :) We got out of the limo and boarded the boat within 30 minutes, it was soooo pretty! :) We got to our room & OMG - the beds were heavenly like I already mentioned in my previous entry. Mom and I fell asleep & didn't even realize we had set sail! We missed it. We went and explored the ship and then had dinner outside. :) We sat outside for about 3 hours. It was georgous ... we saw the sun set! :)
:Monday - Freeport:
We docked at like 7am, I felt us docking ... it was weird. Mom and I were ready to go to the International Bazaar at like 8 a.m. We got out of the port / security & grabbed a taxi with 8 other people. They drive on the opposite side of the road and they are uncontrolable. :( It made me so sick! I bought a straw purse and then we headed back to port. We ate lunch then laid out in the sun for awhile. I went back to the room and went to sleep. I drank a "Kiss On The Lips" and it was great. We sat sail at 4 p.m. again. Mom and I got ready and had dinner then went shopping on the ship! :) I got some scarfs (red & grey - for next year, of course!) Also, I got some Chanel "chance" perfume! :) We went and freshed up again and went to the Captain's Cocktail Party! :) That was fun!! I went back to the room and watched TV while Mom slept, lol. I wasn't to impressed with Freeport, even though I knew not to expect much. The scenery was horrible! :( Just a total disapointment. Carnival shouldn't even stop there!
:Tuesday - Nassau:
Mom & I got up at 6 a.m. - shew!! We had to get ready & what not because we had to meet at the Atlantis boat by 8 a.m. We made friends from Chattanooga who were just married! :) They were adorable. GET THIS - THE GUY WE MET, IS THE ASSISTANT COACH FOR COACH SAUNDERS (FROM WISE). What a SMALL world! We took the boat over to the Atlantis and took a tour of the hotel + aquariums. It was AMAZING! I LOVED it. It was by far, the best part of all the attractions. We had brunch there then shopped. There was a Lilly store there. I was in heaven! I got another dress, shoes & bag. Yay for me! :) We went back to the ship and slept till 4, lol. We went shopping again. I got another LV bag & wallet. Very cute. :) Then, we went to The Outback (I was tired of Squid Salad & Veil) and it even sucked. I was like what the hell?! Shewies!! We took a taxi back and got to see where all the people live in Nassau. It made me realize how lucky I am. Very lucky indeed. :( We went back to the ship & watched "The Newlywed Game". They had 3 couples. One that was married 10 days, 17 years & 35 years. It was HILARIOUS. I was crackin' up. :) One of the questions for the wives were, "If your husband was stranded on a island, which would he take: a hooker or a missionary?" The first couple (married 10 days) both said a missionary. The second couple (married 17 years) both said a hooker (suprised me!). The third couple (married 35 years & the most hilarious) ... the wife said a missionary. And, the husband said "A hooker in the missionary position!" I about DIED. It was hilarious! That was over about 12 and I went straight to bed after that!
:Wednesday - A Complete Day at Sea:
I got up at like 10 and had room service. It was better than the damn regular breakfast. I went and had a massage and it was GREAT! Ahhhh. I had lunch with my Mom and then went back to sleep. I slept till 5. I got up, got ready and got ready for the Formal Dinner. It was great! :) We sat with 2 couples, who were 60+ years and were all newlyweds. It was soooo cute! :) Great conversations. Then, we went and saw the "Vegas Style Show". The best part: 5 Gay Men in the costumes to YMCA (policeman, indian, ?, ?, ?) you know what I'm talking about. Well, the costumes were short / reveiling / etc. and it was so damn funny. Then, I went back to the room and spent about 2 hours packing.
:Thursday - The Long Trip Home!!!:
Got up and was in the Universe Lounge (where the people with yellow tags had to go) and we waited for like 2 years to disembark. We got off the ship, found our luggage & went through customs and then we were on our way to the OIA. We had like an hour before our flight. The flight to Atlanta was great. No turbulance or anything. Yay for us. We got ot Atlanta and waited for like 3 hours. We were suppose to fly out at 3 but they were overbooked so we took the 5 flight. Because we did that, we got 200 dollars toward a flight to anywhere in the US. So, because this trip sucked so bad, Mom's taking me somewhere next month or maybe over Christmas break. I dunno, but we're going. We got to tri cities about 7 and then headed home. It was sooooooo great to be home!
Today, I got up and went and picked up my stuff at Keepsake, went to Wal Mart & then to lunch with Brittney. I came home unpacked a little bit and then went to work 5 to close. I got home about 10 and I've been updating this / talkin' on aol ever since! Well, Best Week Ever is on in a few minutes, so I better go brush my teeth and get ready for it! :)
