(no subject)
I can't believe it's practically Friday already! This time last week I was in Montana for the regional No Frills Conference. We would have just finished up a few pieces of business and been making our way back to the hotel.
The conference was a pretty good success for us. We got the regional nomination for 4 national awards: Distinguished Service for Emily Ladd, NRHH Member of the Year for Stephanie Maggard, NRHH Bulding Blocks Chapter of the Year (ie: Most Improved), and School of the Year (which is only the highest honor a school can get...). On top of that, Ted, Daila, Tera and I won the Case Study on behalf of the University of Arizona (although I like to think that Tera and I did most of the work on that one...Ted and Daila were good moral support!). Now we get to revise our bids to be submitted to the national level and hopefully we'll win the awards! :o)
It was really cool to spend the weekend with Daila and Tera...we shared a room and our fourth roomie (from BYU) didn't show up so I got my own bed. That was GREAT!!
Now it's already been a week and I still feel like I haven't caught up on sleep yet. Oh well...it's almost the weekend!!
Sabre and I are having dinner tomorrow night and then maybe going out for drinks after my desk shift...
