wow, thats awesome. that means you'll be working at fsc early learning lab when you get into your major, which is where i went to preschool. wooo! dr.babcock(sp?) is an amazing lady. you'll learn a lot from her.
so, curious as to what you changed your major from, and what prompted such a change...also, the *cough* at the end is confusing me...:D
Well, I'm changing my major from Marketing/Advertising, hence the *cough*. Mainly because it's such a huge change. As to why? Well, I'm working in the afterschool program at the Y and I've walked over to Carlton Palmore a couple of times to get kids. I do love working with kids, and when I was at the school I was looking around at everything and was remembering elementary school and it just got me thinking. One of the main things is that I can't really see myself in any Business career. Anything that sounds remotely interesting requires insane amounts of work time, which I refuse to do. But as a teacher I get weekends off, get off at a decent hour, have holidays off, summers... Sweet deal. The only downside is that I'd get paid squat. BUTTTT I was looking into it and I could get a masters in school administration and work basically the same amount of time but get paid a lot more. I guess we'll see. I have an appointment with Dr. Toops on Monday to talk about it and work on a schedule.
I'm switching my major to education as well. I'm probably going to start at the elementary level but I'd really like to get my PhD and become a college professor.
