First week of work is almost done. And I could not be happier about that. I've been asked to work over the last two nights, but I haven't. I will eventually, but as for now, I'm so damn tired. It takes a lot out of a person to go from sitting on your ass all of the time to being on your feet working at a factory 8 1/2 hours a day. Not to mention that it is HOTTER THAN SHIT. Not unbearable, but close. Monday, my first day, was (so everyone said) the hottest day ever in the shop. So it was intimidating as shit to work in about 110 degree heat with limited fans. I've worked on 4 machines so far. I worked on the Honda line tonight (much to my delight). It was actually cooler to run than the other welding machines (GM). Further proving my hypothesis that Honda is superior in every way. Even if they are really, really, bad for me. But I didn't blow up any machines or myself, so thats something. I got a copy of Pink Floyd's The Wall live in Berlin burned for me, along with an MP3 cd with about 180 classic rock songs on it. All of my band tshirts are paying off. People give me shit when they find out that I like classic rock. I love it. I have maintnence workers seek me out to talk to me. Its really cool. Especially because one of them is hot and I have a slight crush on him. One day left. Weekend=hopeful party.
