When it's finished, the scene should read about 5000 words. It's important and I need to hide some aspects of it within the narrative. I'm too tired to be that clever tonight, so I'll flesh it out at a later date.
I didn't want to write tonight. It was a really rough day for me and Olivia. She went to bed early, accidentally fell asleep really, and I sat down to write a few words. I'm glad I did. I may have to change every word I wrote, but the shape of the scene is complete and I'm ready to actually start producing a polished work out of it. I talked myself into writing for a few minutes and ended up writing about 3 pages.
I'm proud of myself. I'm taking that to bed with me.
