You can always look thinner

:Friday Night:
I spent weeks with the willpower not to search for the spoiler for The Amazing Race.. and seeing it was the final episode for the series, I made sure I taped it before Tash & I went out on Thursday night. So I finally got to sit down to watch it.. comfy on the sofa with pillow and doona. I'd probably rank it as my favourite reality show... so exciting, so tense! I'm so glad Uchenna + Joyce beat Rob & Amber! It was fantastic! I was so happy for them I cried.

:Saturday:
Lauren piked on breakfast that we were meant to have @ Luxe Espresso in the Strand before work. I ended up going past anyways to find, (a)they possibly have the cheapest coffee in the city at $2.50 a cup? (it was tasty!) and (b)The real reason? To check this good-looking waiter she mentioned. Umm, I'd have to say not likey! :oP

Work was so average. Wasn't feeling very chatty.. except when Cate was telling me about this new guy she is seeing who plays for the Brumbies. So I had to give her a quick lesson on the rules. More foul looks from CB-battle-axe. I've decided that I will mention it to our Regional Manager, but won't call on action. They had the Myer fashion show on TVs placed around the floor and I kept hearing Rui Da Silva - Touch Me in the background and it made me a bit angry. Finished the day with a huge negative because of returns. I dont think I've ever returned anything.. except some red snakeskin hotpants for my Superman outfit for GenderBender. :o\

Met up with Tash and we went over to Woo'moo where we had to trek though the Ghetto to meet chadder at Harry's Cafe de Wheels for PIE! Walked back to the Tilbury for Mel's birthday drinks. From the outside, it just looks like a pub, but it was schmick inside! Especially the balcony and courtyard. The crowd was a bit older and not very attractive as Pookie D had led me to believe! Claudio came as well, who I haven't seen since my London farewell party and used to work with us at GBs. The Ugly Lights got turned on at about 1130 (because its all residential there) and as we walked out, we bumped into bamelia, HotPants and flipper200. There was nothing else in the area left open so it was early splitsville where Tash & I had to walk back through the ghetto, haunted by creeping shadows and kerb crawlers - which thankfully, the police are targeting!

Photos de rigueur

:Sunday:
Stumbled outside in the morning to find some strange man on the sofa bed in the living room. O..k. Went downstairs and had breakfast with the pares and had this really cool discussion about their thoughts on Nature vs. Nurture. Was really surprised to find out that my dad is a big believer in destiny/fate. It’s a phantasmagorical notion, but I’m still sitting on the fence with that one.

Mystery man and Glenda are sleeping outside, which is why I’m sitting in here. Hostage! take some badass basslines.. haaaii-YA! Am meeting Tash soon to go watch a screening for The Wedding Crashers!

Owen Wilson is so dreamy!
Vince Vaughn is hilarious!
It was a good laugh.. I'd only recommend it to certain people though.
