Una's

Last night after work, I slyly ditched the PR meeting and vroom'd out East to meet Chad who appeared to be "working the street" in his suit outside Kings Cross station. reow reow! Mel & Daniel were running late so we trekked up to Una's to grab a table.

Mel & Dan finally arrived after we got hassled by Inge and Fritz (in his lederhosen!) on when our "friends" were arriving, as the place was slowly filling up.

My aim on picking Una's as our eatery was because I'd heard a couple people mention it and not only was it simple and tasty, but a bar-jain as well. Nice cosy, family-run joint. Also, Stevie has claimed that he has never been able to finish a schnitzel there.. and even got showed up by Hau who scoffed the lot.

"How big could this schnitzel be?" I thought. Its just a flattened out piece of meat. Plus, we had a pretty big one when tashrocks & I were in Vienna, so surely no challenge!

My only downfall was that I wore tight pants that day into work.
Nevertheless.. 3 jaeger schnitzels and a caesar salad (Mel was soft) was ordered.

So the meals finally came out and I'm all like "Pfft, this is going to be easy!" until Mel goes "Uh, your schnitzel is folded over!" Actually, it was 2 pieces stacked ontop of eachother.. each piece being the size of an out-spread hand (big man-sized hands like mine).

Schnitzel @ Una's

EDIT: Incase anyone didn't understand the supposed cryptic nature of the photos, I finished my plate (except for the lemon wedge and sprigs of parsley). They should give out certificates or plaques or summat.
