Week in Review
Last week was quite busy, work-wise. The work was pretty straight forward but I guess I found I put the pressure on myself to get it right as this was my first project (in almost 4 months?) that I was working with Ross. I put in the hours and I think the end product was quite good (perhaps a teensy bit dodgy, but thats because I CBF working out proper contours).
Friday night was some welcomed R+R. All the better with the MTV movie awards.
Saturday started with a mega rushed shopping spree. Within an hour before work, I had purchased:
- Tsubi lean bean black cords (Yes, I got sucked into Tsubi AND skinny-leg pants)
- Don't Ask Amanda baby blue cardigan
- Marcs Alana Sweater (only 5 dollah with my allowance card! Yay!)
- Marcs mens black leather jacket (for Kenny -> when are we hitting the golf course!)
- RL Chapman shirt
- Mac compact (for G)
Note to self: no more purchases for the next 2 mths.
Work was quiet. More death-stares to Claudia. I saw Jana Wendt (my fave current affairs reporter and a fine looking lady!). cK-Ben dropped past as he was shopping with his visiting parents. He is SO lovely! *sigh* Cate left early and it got lonely so I went downstairs to talk to Marky.
Came home and got cranky about the chick at GP leaving the security button on my pants :o(
tashrocks came around after hanging out at Skooge + witha_ph's house. We then went over to Summer Hill and got osmocote and headed into the city for Laundry. It took me 2 laps to find the rockstar carpark but we got there.
Paul was at the door so we got to say hi to him. Tim was already inside with Steve Lind who had a guest spot in the SandBar. Hau + Zak and all her Hype friends came later and I ended up sitting with her in the beer garden for, like, an hour and a half. She's totally staight-up and hilarious. She's such good value.

We gave Rich a bamboo sandwich (to prepare him for Japan), marvelled at Carlo's pretty teeth and smooth complexion, laughed at Christian's wet crotch and it all came crashing down when Liz said "Does anyone else notice that theres a lot of ugly people around?". Hey, its tough to look this good.
At that point we wandered downstairs into The Cave where PQM was just starting up. I only lasted about an hour as it was all getting a bit too tribal and progressive for my likings. What have I been conditioned into?! :-0
Wandered back upstairs and found Jess, Rich + Tash having a bit of a gurn. Did some lounging on the ottomans. Caught Carlo, Hau + Christian rockin' out to Bon Jovi (the video is a bit dark but catch it before I have to take it off the server!). Put the good foot down to some Funktrust shizzle. And then said goodbyes to Rich and was audi.
Laundry Happy Snaps
Woke on Sunday and was appauled by the sight out my window of tree branches swaying madly from side-to-side. Whaddup with the gale force winds, I ask. Sat in Glenda's room and brought her up to speed with my goings ons. We cooked some breakfast and watched some ABC. I went into Da 'Wood to get the security tag taken off my pants. Stopped into Blockbuster and picked up Garden State (because I <3 Zach Braff) which was so sweet! And will hang out on Team America as I've got it for 7 days anyways.
Things that...:
*Made me cringe - Girls with their pants tucked into pink imitation Ugg boots.
*Made me giggle - Seeing a group of grown men eat their pretzels in the food court with fork & knife (a-la Seinfeld and the snickers bars).
*Had me in amazement - Quiff-stylin my fringe to stand on end
*Had me laughing till I cried - Hau
*Feel good inc - Being told I'm a "dude"
*Got the wink-nudge - Chit-chat with other retail wenches
*Have me dancin' - Maxim feat. Porsha - I dont Care (Moonbootica Rmx)
