Last weekend a DJ saved me life..
After sorta getting lost around Pyrmont and ending up back in the city and having to drive all the way back (my map skillz were SO out of wack, i tells ya.. it was like being in Amsterdam again).. I picked up the boys, showed off my flashy parallel parking skillz on Parramatta Rd and went and had dinner at the Una's on Broadway. Luke was game enough, not only to eat ALL his Veal Gypsy (including the sauerkraut), he even scoffed a sticky date pudding. Impressive.
We went back into the city and headed to Laundry for a warm-up. So many Canb kids making the roadtrip. So many. Ajax started up late so we were really only saw him for about 1/2hr before having to move on down to Tank. I don't know who was playing in the mainroom.. but it was housey, disco-y with girly vocals. So I stuck to the backroom leaning on the booth. Ha!
Mike got jealous that all these girls knew Nick. Luke & Mike got busted lounging in the roped off VIP booth. Luke & Mike were seen exchanging numbers with 2 blokes. Luke disappeared for about 20mins. Mike got chucked out to get "fresh air" from the bouncers. We had to leave after Nick finished because Mike wasn't allowed to get let back in. Haha!
