Thought I'd tell you about my weekend (thus far)..
Friday was a bit of a debacle with work.. I was cruising along to my Abu Dhabi deadline quite nicely until 530 kicked in.. and then I basically wasted an hour and a half opening 3 faulty PDFs. Something had fcked up with our CAD file and I wasnt in the best of moods to work it out. I ended up walking out of SI at 815 (so my working day calculates to 12.5hrs), hi-tailed it back home to joojz (is that how one would spell it?) and headed back to The Newington for Morges' birthday dinner. Well, I actually missed the dinner, but i still got to eat. Definately going back there to "Cook My Own Steak"! The cake was delicious elaine!
We left that and met up with Chad, Tai and Vanessa (and Adam + Matilda) at Tonic. Huw was playing at the time so we got down to some funk and jazz and a touch of disco.. he played 3 songs for me! Lily Allen - Knock 'Em Out, SpankRock - Sweet Talk and Roy Ayers - Sugar Sugar. Teehee! A bit of smashy lying around (oops!) and good ol' Rubber-Arms over there got dizzown and dancing with the semi-gaylords. [insert FO post]

Morges' Bday Thing @ The Newington / Chad's "I just finished my exams so lets get loose" Thing @ Tonic Worked on Saturday.. got conned into staying on till 6 because Joel (not to be confused with Joeljulio) is a whiny little biatch.
Stayed at home that night for the first time in... I dont know when! Watched The Nutty Professor and Bad Boys and most of The WaterBoy before I put myself to bed. Insert aforementioned crappy-finding-out-that-I-didnt-have-spankrock-basement-tickets and a raspberry facial mask and hot shower.
It was quite bizarre being at work today with no real excuse to be sketchy. I got asked to stay till 6, again, because Rachel was hungover and wanted to go home. Rubber-Arms is rubbing off on me? I'm such a sucker for the coin. It turned out though because I was upstairs going through some old payslips and found that they dogged me a Sunday shift. w00t!
Here's a photo of my plant that sits on my desk at work. Its coming back to life!
I've decided to name him Brett because I dont currently know anyone called Brett who I could offend. As seen from an archived photo
*here*, it was looking pretty dismal. This was taken a while ago (28th May), so it has grown much more since!

Off to chuck on some thermals (i know it sounds daggy, but you know it makes sense) before Tash + Morges gets here.
