(no more secret stuff thus far - boring!)
I've been following relatively closely (as much as
ninemsn and
SMH reports) to the stories regarding the trapped miners down in Beaconsfield, Tasmania. Trapped in a 1.2m x 1.2m cage.. 1km below the surface. Its pretty amazing that they survived 5 days before anyone reached them and now 3 days on, they're at the final stages of digging.

After running a brief survey in Myer on the weekend.. why is there a sudden flux in Hot Dads?

This evening, after a maroon Nissan cut me off and sped away on Stanmore Rd (near Newington), it was later seen pulled over by cops on New Canterbury Rd near Frazer street. Sweet justice.

In music news, keep an eye (ear) out for a London girl called
Lily Allen. My ear has tuned to the outside radio twice over the couple of days to the suprise of hearing 'LDN' being played on JJJ. Its pop, its ska, its horns and her lyrics and tribute to London is oh so sweet. Its summer in a tune and everything 'Love Generation' cant be. She also has another track called 'Nan is a Window Shopper' (a take off 50 Cent) which is hilarious. To all the London kids, please check her out at YoYo @ The Notting Hill Arts Club and report back to tell me she's really all that and a bag of potato chips. In the meantime, Dayna is a machine and found this totally rad
MixTape (right click > download.. y'know you wanna) through her superdupermusicjournaltunefinder. Legend.
I also like the Gnarls Barkley album, St. Elsewhere, even though I am REALLY over hearing 'Crazy' being overplayed on the radio. But in the context of the whole album, it works. And my other pick is Prince's new one, 3121. Seriously.
So we had Secret Planta (like Secret Santa.. but with plants) just over two months ago. We figured that having plants in the office would green-up the place.. little did we know they kinda act like how coal miners used to have canarys down the hole!
Steve's was the first to go. It was a rocket plant and he didnt eat it fast enough. I think Nick's was next. His was exactly the same as mine but it clearly didnt enjoy his stinky dark room. Kerry's went recently after the long weekend stints without water. Andrew's fern is going along.. and I'm not sure whats happened to Murph's or Sam's.
From L-R: My plant - it looked like it was gone for a bit, but it slowly just started shooting off some new buds. Dan's plant.. which recently finished the leaves-lost countdown, is now just some sticks in a pot. Mel's palm plant, aka "Thropedo", is thriving in her bright sunny window room. Its double cool because the leaves actually close up when it gets dark! And Mike's BYO lily, who is also residing in the sunny front room.
I'll deduce a conclusion soon enough.

Not only can Nicass shoot out babies, she knows how to make balloon animals and hats!

Theres a new candy store under Myer in Sydney Central Plaza called Sugar Fix. It sells all exotic candy (read american and british) including these old school hearts with messages on them. They're not crappy tasting either. They're like fruit tingles. Too cute.
