Reconnecting People
I met up with Jane (McKenzie) last night in Newtown.. which was a huge step-back in time! She's about to head off to PNG in 10 sleeps to do some drama teaching in the remote part near the beach with her marine biologist boyfriend (who is Fred Hollows' son!). Also got filled in on some old names from school like Janine Seeto, Nicola Phillips, Carly White, Pia Rufus, Sarah Hastie, Christine Dubi, Eleni Daviskas.. (bringing back some old names!).
Dropped her back at her parents' house, which is literally around the corner from me. Went in to say hi and saw her room as she's packing it up so her adults can renovate. I was then reminded of all these crazy notes, cards, gifts etc that I used to make for her in school. Jeez I was creative!
Catching up with her was great! Although I remembered that I still haven't replied back to my primary-school-stalker since her feb.14 SMS. I've made the move to a draft message though!
I also found out that a guy I used to like in uni used to like me. How is that useful knowledge to know today. T-t-t-t-oday junior!
