How's it going? I can't believe it's already nearly the end of Jan!
I've been meaning to get in contact with you for quite a while but have been swamped at work and with random things happening outside work too, why does it always seem to get busier and that's it?? I couldn't imagine what it'd be like working wkends too, I'd probably have a breakdown, hehe...
Anyway, I figured it was about time I told you before you heard from the grapevine (who knows how quickly/slowly things travel through...) - Chris and I got engaged in Tassie!!! We were camping at Cradle Mountain a few days after Christmas and had a nice romantic meal of instant noodles before it happened, hehe....it came as a complete surprise to me and since he'd talked to my parents a month before it happened, I was more surprised that my family did such a good job of keeping it a secret (although they did tell me afterwards that many of their friends and some of our family knew even before I'd found out!). At least it means an end to the hassling from people about when we're finally getting married!
Anyway, just thought I'd drop you a quick email to let you know the news. Catch you around!
