Accidentally Cool
Another day winding down, though I need to stay awake a while longer, yet. I have to stay up late so I can sleep late so I can be awake long enough to work tomorrow night, yes indeed.
Daily life of late? Saw Spiv today. We went out for lunch, and ended up sitting in Pizza Hut for two and a half hours talking. It was cool. We chatted mostly about role playing, as we tend to do... he needed ideas for his new character, so we talked about character development for a while, and after we got back to his house and talked for a while longer, he ended up with a pretty solid concept. An afternoon well spent, quite aside from the friend development benefits.
I'm going to end up trying to figure out how to get into TVA's training program, I think... see about getting myself that $59000 a year (starting) job, even if I do have to move a bit away... I can drive in on my off days and such, after all... I don't really want to move, but... I don't want to work some dead-end job either, so eh... I'll try to get on at TVA, and if I succeed, I'll probably go... if not, then I guess it hasn't hurt me any. And who knows, maybe I'll get on at one of the local dams... there's patrick henry, south holston, and boone, I suppose... not counting fossil plants that aren't THAT far away... Eh, we'll see.
