Return Trip
So I just got home a few minutes ago from my Illinois trip, and here I am, straight away, back on the computer. Gives you a hint as to what I like to do, hmm? :)
Seeing Shannon was expectedly pleasant, and seeing Lily, even more so. I had a great time playing with her, she's awesome. We didn't really DO all that much -- we watched Goblet of Fire, and went shopping a couple of times, and out to eat twice... Mostly, though, we just hung out around the house and talked. Conversational topics varied, of course, from movies to role playing to acting to work to philosophy and science... Good stuff, indeed... I miss talking to him like that regularly much more sharply after a reminder like this weekend... certainly not saying that I would give up such weekends willingly :) I enjoy them tremendously.
I also went to watch the Loose Shoes (Mary's band) playing at Galloway's in Pekin. They were really good! I was impressed. The atmosphere of the place was... well... a bar, and therefore smokey (irritated my eyes and lungs)... but the performance was quite nice :)
Anyways, I'm in the middle of listen/reading Order of the Phoenix (audio book), so I'm going to get back to that. Much love to all my homies (which includes Amanda). Later
