"Mm, thought of it, but actually carrying through with the idea didn't happen." He shrugged, "It didn't really seem like my sort of thing. I'm busy enough as it is. I can't imagine trying to keep up with that on top of... everything else." It wasn't that all of the fraternities were overrun with the school's athletes and the others who fit the mould for what the fraternities were looking for as much as Izuru didn't totally fit their ideal. Poet-doctors need not apply. It gave him more time to worry about classes and work and his deep-set longing to just take time to write for himself.

It was his turn to laugh at her explanation. Running out of clothes, indeed. "Well, don't ruin anything on my account." He nodded to a small hallway off to the side of the kitchen. "I'll show you the car. Hopefully it's nothing major... I don't want to take up too much of your time with this." He felt a little sheepish about the matter. Here she was--a girl--coming to fix his car, because he was about as mechanically inclined as a wooden post. He'd have to find a way to make it up to her.

Laughing softly, Winry nodded. "You wouldn't have time to breath if you had joined one. You probably would have slept through an entire week, maybe even two, instead of a weekend." He barely seemed to have any free time now, she couldn't imagine what it would be like if he had been involved in a fraternity. "Besides, who wants to deal with that whole rushing thing. I've heard some pretty horrible stories about the stuff that happens during that. None of the stories are about our college specifically, but still..."

She clapped her hands together happily. Finally, to the car. Not that she didn't enjoy Izuru's company, she just wanted to get her hands on another car. She could only do so much to her car before she accidentally broke something. She all but skipped in the direction of the small hallway. "Oh, don't worry. If it's something major that just makes it more fun. You said it's only been making a weird noise, right? I don't think it'll be something big, but if it is I'll just try figuring out what it is, do what I can do now, and finish it up some other time." She turned to flash him a bright smile. "Don't want to take up all your time."
