Haku had his head against the door, and opened it wincing slightly as he forgot about the shoulder injury. That was everything the held him back right now.
He walked in, anyway - just because. The stiflingly dead silence was almost congesting. Haku was done with dealing with bullies and trying to help people. He just wanted to be somewhere other than his room.
"Hey." He said solemnly toward the girl in the velvet chair. "Mind if I check out what you guys are doing?"
.....He wanted to dance.

She froze when she turned and saw that, though it was a guy, it definitely wasn't Lee. He seemed somewhat familiar, but he clearly wasn't a theatre kid. She knew most of them ridiculously well, spending hours upon hours rehearsing with them.
"Um... I..." she squeaked as she stood. Clearing her throat, she crossed her arms over her chest and said, "Technically, this is a student rehearsal block, not affiliated with the department or anything. You can watch, but don't expect any razzle-dazzle or whatever."
She tried to sound tough, but she couldn't help wondering if he was all right. Though part of her was still anxious about her well-being, she found that she was also concerned for his. "I'm, uh... Kagome. Sophomore theatre major."

Arriving, she was full of apologies as she saw Kagome, almost completely not seeing Haku.
Noticing the piano Hinata gave it a wistful glance as she rushed onto the stage. "Sorry I'm late, couldn't find my inhaler."

Haku's shoulder had sharp pains going through it, and it was inconspicuous up to the shoulder blade - from there to the socket it was all raw after 15 hours time, yet covered with gauze and dried blood splatters, and it showed through his shirt at the back. He hadn't changed his shirt in the past few days - notably so - because it was all he had right now and the theatre was dark.
He silently watched Hinata pass, and he told her calmly in monotone, "Look. I'm not trying to cause any trouble. I just can't sleep - and if I can help somehow, I'd be more than happy to help."
It was her tone that made him feel unwelcome, and all he did was ask if he could watch. "I'm in Medical Accupressure, and Computer Studies." His eyes greyed with a sudden sadness. "Alot of people just call me 'pastey white kid' really, but my name is Haku."

She turned back to the guy who looked a little downtrodden. "Medicine and computers," Kagome breathed, a little more comfortable now that she affirmed he was a student and not some random stranger. "Not exactly the type of person that'd want to spend some time in a theatre, but okay."
She looked him over, uncrossing her arms but still not daring to come any closer. "You, uh... you look a little worn. The box seats in the back are comfy, if you want to try and cure your insomnia. We'd have to wake you in a couple of hours when we leave, though. As for help... I don't know. We're waiting on one more guy, so unless you don't mind singing in his place or playing piano or something, I'm not sure what you could do."
As though it were an afterthought, Kagome quickly added, "The offer's appreciated, though."

Walking closer, she smiled softly as she approached. "Um, excuse me...I'm Hinata, and I just wanted to thank you for helping me the other night..."

Haku gave a nod to Kagome, "Okay. Just a question though - is there a piano in the greenroom at all?"
Reply
"Well, I set up a keyboard in the wings, but we've got an old piano in the greenroom. I think it's just there for historical or sentimental purposes or something, since anything you play on it makes it sound like there's a dying cat in the vicnity."
After a moment, she added, "It's locked, but I know where a spare set of keys are."

Although he didn't know how to tune a piano at all, there may have been something merely stuck in it that caused an uneccessary vibration. With it being a University, he wasn't all too suprised as alot of equipment probably was set around and forgotten.

It was the most anyone had heard her say without stuttering in a while, and she felt oddly proud. She felt comfortable here, as if she had friends.

Headed towards stage right where the entrance to the scene shop was located, Kagome told them, "Green room's just past the stage stage door, upstage right. You guys go ahead while I grab the spare key."

Haku nodded to the comment and headed up the stairs, unaware that the stage lighting had caught his wound as he past through the curtians.
Haku didn't even think about it really - it was taken care of and all so there was no problem to him.
Sad fact was that you could still see where the bullet had ripped through his shirt.
