Movie Room miroku_okinawa January 16 2009, 20:54:04 UTC
Having finished putting up the last of the snowflake-shaped window decorations, Miroku stumbled towards the movie room. True to his word, he was indeed decked out in his black-and-white Guitar Hero pajamas and he was also in need of caffeine. He could have just gone downstairs and grabbed a soda, but he was far too tired for that at the moment.

Closing the door to the dimly-lit room behind him, he settled on a sofa and wondered which of the movies would be the first to screen. He winced when he saw the familiar intro to Cool Runnings. Sighing, he went towards the small microwave in the back of the room and grabbed one of the many packets of popcorn. As he adjusted the ridiculously long black and navy blue scarf he had tied around his neck, he looked to the door and hoped that the smell of popcorn would attract some people soon, or he'd have to wander around the entire campus center just to be social.

The plan was to be social! Sango hadn't expected to come, but decided on a whim this evening that she should. She needed to get out more. Work, school, Wrath, aikido, Wrath, sleep, repeat. That kind of schedule wasn't exactly conducive to a social life... And besides, any excuse to see the friends she did have was a good one.

A little bit of searching led her to the movie room, and she was surprised to find it empty save for one person. Luckily, it was the person she'd been looking for.

"You are in your pajamas!" she said. She wasn't very dressed up, herself, however. Sango wore blue jeans, canvas high tops, and a hooded sweatshirt that read 'Our Lady of Light Girls' Soccer 2005-2006' across the front.

Yachiru made her way inside, immediately looking for Miroku. She had promised that she would bring him coffee and didn't want him to think that she had forgotten.

As she approached the room, a tray from Starbucks with two coffees and a hot chocolate in her hands, she paused when she overheard voices.

After listening for a moment she was assured that she wasn't interrupting anything. Making her entrance, she smiled widely. "Hiya guys! I brought some coffee! What movie are we watchin'?"

Sango was surprised to see Yachiru, but then remembered what she'd said before about starting classes. "Hi!" she responded, happy to see the other girl. Yachiru was always a bright ray of sunshine, and she meant that in the best way possible.

"I don't know what it is," Sango said. "I just got here..."

Miroku perked up considerably at the sound of Sango's voice. Grinning, he replied, "Of course I'm in my pajamas. I'm a man of my word." He was about to add, "most of the time," but decided against it. No need to go there yet. The night was young.

He approached her and looked at her sweatshirt, trying to make out the words. Just as he realized that his eyes were also in a prime position to do some ogling, Yachiru made her way inside.

"Hey!" Miroku called, eyeing both the girl and the coffee. "Judging by the Jamaican accents and the fact that I saw the opening credits, Cool Runnings." Pointing to the coffees, he asked, "Is one of those for me? Because unless you girls are planning on being my pillows tonight, I could really, really use it." As though thinking better of it, he added, "On second thought, that doesn't sound like a bad plan."

Sango noticed the look, but set her jaw and tried not to think anything of it. She did have writing on her sweater, right? She smiled a bit when he mentioned the pillows. "Yeah, no. At least not me. I'm not a very good pillow."

[OOC: :O Taking this since it seems to be open! Hope that's okay.]

Miroku quirked an eyebrow at Sango's comment. With a smirk, he mentioned, "Well, if you don't mind, I'd like to test that theory. With lots and lots of testing." A little light-headed from stress and lack of sleep, he resisted the urge to stagger back as he added, "Preferably now-ish."

((OOC- Sorry for taking so long!))
