Riza had been having more than her fair share of unpleasant conversations recently, and this one didn't promise to be any better. Talking to your ex about anything was generally a pain enough, never mind talking about his new girlfriend's problems.
Unfortunately, Kurenai was dodging her calls, and only seemed willing to talk to Riza to say "Don't talk about me." Havoc was the only one Riza could think of who might be able to get through to the other woman.
Shoulders only slightly tensed, she made her way to the other officer's desk.
