Where do I start? I pretty much haven't written anything since I came back from France, and I still don't have that France post ready.
FFX: I am a videogame zombie. Right now, I am at the the point in the story where Seymour is FINALLY gone, thank GOD, creepy bastard. I've been getting an 'end of Nausicaa' feeling from the game recently, what with all the nihilism and 'Sin will never go away, but we must give hope to the people' and 'we will not settle for false hope!' Yeah, yeah, Miyazaki did it better. "Sin will never go away?" "People will never attain purity?" No really? Square, why are you so Catholic all of a sudden? I mean, that's not just designer Christianity you've got there. It's way too heavy. I have the sinking suspicion that I'll have to play the game a second time just to understand everything that's going on...
Jak & Daxter: I should play more platformers. I used to think they were too hard but they're not. At least Jak & Daxter was pretty easy.
Well, no one really cares about my videogame exploits but since they consist of a large part of the my time for the last couple of weeks, it had to be mentioned, so I mentioned it.
My coach suggested I try joining Toastmasters, so I've been going to different Toastmasters meetings in the Montreal area. So far, my grandfather's club is too far away, and the NDG one is way boring. I'm not even sure if I want to join this group, but my parents are very enthusiastic about the idea, and I'm still shopping around for the group that's right for me, as it were.
I feel so uninspired. I'll write some more when I'm less bleh...
