Happy Halloweenie!
Holy shit, it's been a long time since I've laid eyes upon the land of Live Journal. Facebook pretty much devoured my free time, what little of it I have had over the past few months. (Summer and beers on patios took up the rest!)
So much to write. Not sure if it's even worth it at this point. Suffice it to say that I have had a very interesting go of things lately, and am snuggling into my new career quite nicely. To say I love my work is an understatement. Whatever kept me from going to Harris all those years ago was a gift; it insured I was in the right place, at the right time, and ready for it. This weekend I will receive my honours diploma. No longer the student, I receive it a week after the delivery of my corporate and plain (yet oh so fancy to me) business cards which bear the words 'Sony ATV Music Publishing Canada. Mishelle Pack. A&R/Creative' like out of a dream...
My mum comes to visit this weekend, and I can't wait to see her. She's going to be my beautiful date on Sunday to the graduation. I'm also excited for her to meet my boss, and see my office. It's the first "real" job I've had - which is itself amusing given it's in the music industry! :P Seriously, it's the first time I've had an office. It's also the first time I've sat all day while working. I now have to be wary of the frightening phenomenon known in some circles as "the Corporate Ass". Must get out dancing more often then.
Anyway. If anyone still reads this damned thing, then I say hellooooo and I hope you are well. I have a lot of catching up to do so bear with me. If I've missed something important, please email me and let me know.
