the weekend
so, this weekend totally sucked, mainly b/c i didn't see david like at all. and sunday sucked really bad b/c i had to go to muncie for my honor society induction ceremony. my mom drove, and it was an adventure. the ceremony itself wasn't bad at all. after the ceremony, mom and i walked around for a half hour....seriously....looking for our car in a parking garage. i felt so retarded, and i was really embarrassed when breanna and christina drove up with breanna's parents and they were all like, "you guys look lost." and my mom was like, "yeah, it's like on seinfeld when they lose their car in a parking garage. haha." i was like, "oh my god, i wanna die." breanna was like, "we had no idea what she was talking about, but we just laughed anyway." yeah, so we finally found our car, and then my mom turns onto mckinley, and i'm like, "where are you going?" she had turned down the wrong way, and she got all lost and it took us forever to get off campus. then, we went to texas roadhouse and my mom had never been there, and she was like, "why are there peanut shells on the floor?" and she was like all disgusted by it. so when we went to leave, we couldn't find the exit out of the restaurant, and my mom turned down this one hallway, and the door said emergency exit only and she got all confused, so she had me ask for directions. so i asked the guy that worked there how to get out, and he was like, "same way you got in," like all shitty. i felt really dumb. yeah, but the whole day was an adventure. my mom cracks me up. we're so much alike. lol. so then, today, i was going tanning at like 10 this morning, and some cop pulled me over on 26th street for speeding. i was going 34 in a school zone, and he got all shitty with me b/c he thought i was skipping, i guess. he didn't believe me that i was 19 and that i went to ball state. then he asked me where i was going and i said, "tanning!" and i was all excited, and he looked at me like i was stupid. but, he let me go with a warning. it was my first time getting pulled over, and i was nervous. i didn't cry, though, surprisingly. so after that, i continued on my way to the tanning bed. it was my third time like this week, and each time i go i keep getting more burnt. i'm peeling really bad. i can't wait until tomorrow. david is coming and so is josh mccorkle, and them, me, and alison are all going to the buffalo wild wing place to eat. i'm excited. it should be fun. and i can't wait to see david. i really miss him. friday and saturday he got off right when i had to go into work, and then on sunday i only saw him for an hour b/c i had to go to work after i went to the ceremony. it was sad. the only really good thing about the weekend was i got trained in room. like i found out the code to the safe and i had to count the safe and do the paper work and make the drops and count all the money and stuff. it was really fun. like, it doesn't sound like fun, but it is. the paperwork was confusing to me at first, but sabrina printed out examples and made notes for me and it was really helpful. she's training me some more this friday.
