I do not know! It was mostly 'huh some of the stuff I just coughed up is red, I'm going to go ask to go to the hospital now'. The doctors found the 102 degree fever more concerning than blood from a raw throat.

have you got a home-use thermometer? i don't get sick super often, but having one around for when i do is always really useful, so maybe you should pick up some variety of one if you don't have one already?

We have one! We just didn't use it yet for some reason.

I usually check my temperature pretty religiously if I get sick to any degree that it's impeding my usual functions, or if I start feeling that kind of malaise-y fever ache kind of thing. (Checking your temperature when you're not sick to get some idea of what you personally usually run is good too!)

gosh yes it was sooooooo cooooooool, i caught it at like one in the morning when it first went up! awesome times.

and then i spent most of the morning after i slept some more listening to the new album because i'm just good at using my time like that :B (do not become like me!)
