recently, cerice took the trouble to set up a lovely little photoshoot for us bellydancer types. it was a very interesting event, involving lots of dancers scrambling, running about, throwing on costumes, and a whilwind of flash bulbs, incrimental adjustments to poses, and smiles. i was so impressed with cerice - not that she doesn't regularly impress me - but she was so VERY patient and accomodating (well after i'd have told several people to go jump in a lake wearing concrete boots). she really did a great job of herding cats and making sure we were all very well dressed and taken care of. the shoot had dancers from troupe zahara, bal hepsi, and students and it was a lovely way to spend the day.
i'm super excited to see how the photos come out!
bnell took this shot...i've seen a few test shots from the shoot and they turned out awesome!
