The gig
The gig at the Tipperary Inn went very well! We had a great crowd, possibly one of the largest for a Thursday seen at the Tipps in some time.
We hit the stage at 8:00 and discovered we had a mystery trumpeter??? Ooookay, actually, it was Shaddow discovering the differences in the Tipp's sound equipment v his system that we normally use. Soooo, for the first set we played without monitors. Interesting! *grins* 'S'all good, though: the crowd loved it. We saw several new and unfamiliar faces in there, clapping and singing along. Gotta love new fans.
By the second set, the monitor sitch was sussed out by our brilliant soundman and we really tore it up! At some point, one of the Tipp owners talked to their booking agent about having us again!!!
So a big THANK YOU for everyone that came out to see us! We're working (as always) on some new stuff to début at the next show.
