To sum up my summer, since the last time I posted anything regarding my life:
1. Work. A lot of full-time, mind-numbingly tedious database work. Then some other less boring work.
2. It's an incredibly hot summer in Davisville. Plus the biggest thunderstorm ever, last week.
3. Moved into the new "pad" with Terry. Paul and Phil to join shortly. In fact, they should do so asap. The place is very cool, and we got fast DSL, at last.
4. I'm on a boomerang kick. Boomerangs are the new rollerblades. Although for the past month I've been coming out for the Wednesday night Davis skate, where I also ran into my Summer Advising roommate, Evan. He skates too.
5. Missed a chance to come out to NYC to room with Eli, Nick, John, and Matt. I think the fourth guy's name is Matt.
6. As if to make it up for New York, a couple of fantastic parties materialized at my house and Nate's.
7. Wine tasting is the correct answer to my birthday entry regarding what to do once one turns 21. I highly recommend everyone does this shortly after his or her big two-one. Invite me, as well.
8. Sadly, my hypothesis that no one I've known well will ever die has been rejected. My dear grandfather, the one whose fabled summer house was our childhood stamping ground and refuge from the seriousness of Moscow, has passed away recently. It was a deep blow to the family. He will be missed always.
9. Ready for school to start, but thankful that there is another month to get the house in order and enjoy my summer workationTM(designed by our fungineers.)
