Our Choices
Well our choices are what I thought they would be. Cincinnati or Charleston, South Carolina. And this change will happen in 30 days regardless of which one is picked.
Ben asked for over 22,000 more to move to South Carolina and they said it could be possible but it wouldn't be all in his salary. A majority would be in his yearly bonus NEXT October. Great. Which would mean his bonuses would be much bigger but they tax those heavier... But he would be first or second in charge and that would be a big promotion in his career.
If he chooses Cincinnati, he will also get a title change/promotion and work there being in charge of his own account. It won't be a huge advancement or a huge raise but we can stay here.
Monday they will contact Ben with the 'money' offers and he is able to choose between the two. Ben thinks they want him in SC more and if he rejects the first offer and they really need someone down there, we could make out better.
I don't want to work if I live in SC but if he isn't making alot monthly, that doesn't help us out. Ben told me to start looking for jobs down there. WTF? I want to lay on the beach everyday.
If you had the opportunity to move to Charleston, SC with your job with a big promotion and more money, would you do it? People here are telling me I am crazy if we don't move there. It's gorgeous. Yeah, yeah. But it's scary. We have to sell our house that we have only had a year and get a smaller house or get an apartment down there. I think Ben wants to move though.... and me get a job so we would be making alot more then we are here but I would have to work!
