Realtor Drama
My realtor is driving me crazy. Here is the recent scare tactic and preaching she has done. I have copied this from an e-mail she sent last week when I had left to go to STL. I haven't responded or called her back yet. I don't know if it's me being stressed and irritated or if this would irritate anyone else if their realtor sent an e-mail like this. I told Ben I was ready to start looking for a new realtor and company to sell our house because I'm tired of being reminded that we didn't price it super low 3 months ago when we didn't know the economy was going to go to the crappers. I'm tired of being talked to like a child too. What do you think? I found out that because of us working with a re-lo company, we can cancel with our realtor anytime. I know it's not bad but it's getting to the point where I am at my last nerve with her. Here is her e-mail:
As the time marches on, the market is not correcting it self. The new president won't save us in time.

There is a prediction that we have not hit bottom yet. BMW is letting go over 500 employees, two of my friends husbands or x husbands just lost their job and the nation is predicting a huge job loss in the near future.
If we are not at the bottom yet, it will be soon and the longer you play this game the longer you will be in selling your home and it will just continue to go down in desirability as well.
Homes that are priced right and are in the top condition are the ones that sell quickly.
The prime selling time has passed so now is the time to get serious, now is the time to price this home to move it.
I have been reading reports, speaking to agents from all over, and I assure you I am trying to let you know the best thing to do.
You may have already been sold and would not be so frustrated had it been priced lower to start with.
Listen to me now,..... price it at $(much lower then we want) ..... no buyer incentive . They will ask for something anyway, so lets set the price down there where it will look good lets price it right and you will be able to move on and start your new life. The area you are going to will have plenty of homes to choose from and you will be able to make up the loss there I hope.
