Yay! Internet!
A very happy belated birthday to my darling yedfly I miss you sooo much! I miss being able to talk to you about the weird things that enter my mind and discussing at 3 in the morning. *hugs and kisses*
Carl and I have been doing heavy duty work in the master suite so the internet has been unplugged for a while. We built a closet! And no it was not as simple as punching a hole in the wall. Its in the attic so we had to build in from scratch. Putting down a floor because the people who owned it before us only had a subfloor. Then putting in posts so we could put up the studs. Hanging drywall on the Angle of Doom! As of today the lights are in and the paint is drying. Go us! My hands are so torn up right now. Stupid drywall! *chuckling* It does look very nice though. Carl wants to get the ceiling up before he has to leave.
I have a new pet. A snail that Todd (produce coordinator) found in a box of lettuce. He let me keep it. Its a big snail. I have named it S. Cargo. Saturday night was spent with Ben, Em, Tom and Ben from plasma center. (Now to be called Ben 2) Fun times! Pool is very enjoyable but thank the gods I wasn't playing for money! I start too many of my sentences with 'so', I am going to try and and stop this.
A bit of vagueness: I told someone something, its not really important what it was. This statement of mine was tested and guess what, its a true statement. And I am a feeling quite self righteous and annoyed and the person who called me a liar. *sticks tongue out*
I have come to realize two things lately.
1) I am a pretty good person, in the sense that I am not a useless lump. I am intelligent, I have many useful skills (hells I have helped renovate two houses!), I am a good friend, and I can hold down a job and pay bills. Go me!
2) I am NOT damned!
