Procrastination and all-nighters
Phew. What a day. I slept a total of two hours. It was quite exciting. Quite. I worked on my English project until like, 5 am.
Around 5am, I was finished and started proofing everything. But I just couldn't take it anymore so I went to sleep. Skipped 1st period. It’s weird because I only slept two hours and I feel just fine. It feels like I slept my regular 6 hours. I might even consider doing Tae Bo today. Anyhow, I hate pulling these all-nighters. I am planning to do a stellar job on the essays due next week...
I’ll be going to school in a few minutes to actually turn in my project. Everyone has until 3:20pm today. Half my English class wasn't in class today.
I am playing a clarinet solo for the jazz ensemble. We have no clarinets in the jazz ensemble and I don't know why. So, they are playing this really good song with a clarinet solo and all of a sudden, everyone was like… Alice, we need you to play this solo. And finally they handed me the part a few days ago and told me to learn it in two weeks. It is HARD. I have no sense of jazz rhythm whatsoever. But of course I will try and try and try.
My Friday detention is moved to November 19. I will dread that Friday. I hope it will go by real soon. Three hours with those delinquents.
We tied our field hockey game 0-0 yesterday. It was quite fun because we played Leigh and Leigh had ruined St. Francis's perfect record. Well, I don't know why, but Leigh couldn't beat us. Maybe it was because our team was so psyched up. Probably because it was our last game. We sure had lots of fun. Well, field hockey's over for me. It has been an experience.
