The food in Sweden is typical of Western food - they eat a healthy variety of pasta, cheese, red meat, bread and salad. Although I can't say that I'm a fan of Western food, once in a while you get good food while traveling in the European countries. The question is, how much are you willing to spend on good food?
Anyway, check this out:
Meatballs from Ikea! Sweden's most famous exports.
Really mouth watering lasagna I had in Belgium. It was really as good as it looked.
And what's the point of going to Belgium if you don't try their waffles which ooze with maple syrup in each bite?
The food we had on the Viking Line Buffet, where we pretended to be 17 years old so we could pay half price. Here's the evidence:
The appetizer I had for the Reccegasque I attended.
The main course, fish with cranberry sauce.
Lastly, we have some candies that can be found everywhere
which Stephie dunked in some syrupy drink for my birthday, since I don't really drink much alcohol.
But all these aren't enough to satisfy my Singaporean palate. I still miss my favourite Katong Laksa
It's calling out to me, my precious!
