CHARACTER WRITTEN PORTION
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PERSONALITY: (Word limit: 250)
Maora is a very upbeat and personable person. He is friendly and outgoing but is also a bit manipulative. He observes those around him and uses situations to his advantage. He likes to keep his problems to himself and get in the middle of other people’s problems. He likes to put forth an effected girly personality along with his cross-dressing. For example he will talk in third person and speak in a high voice for the cute effect.

When he's not acting like a girl it's usually when he's in his mailman role. In this role he is very quiet and well mannered. He speaks formally and kindly, though he teases slightly. This isn't so much affected as a part of him, not to say that his girly persona isn't part of him as well.

There's a third less seen version as well, when he actually dresses as a boy without being the mailman. This one is more casual and a bit more vindictive. He rarely does this unless he has to, or is trying to make a point.

Now, even though he wants’ to be a girl, he doesn't want to be a girl. He wants’ the role, and the look, not necessarily the parts. He's not embarrassed by being a man, if anything he's more worried on people feeling awkward around him because of it.

He's rather intelligent but considered very eccentric. He does things his own way regardless of what others want. Even if they tell him directly to do something one way, he'll do it his own way right in front of them.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF APPEARANCE:
Maora is about half a head taller than an average girl, and about a half a head shorter than an average boy. He has chin/shoulder length brown hair that's pulled back on the sides with ribbons. He has big brown eyes and wears custom tailored dresses that are designed to hide his boy features.

BRIEF IN-GAME HISTORY: (Word limit: 250) (There is no particular reason not to keep his canon history for high school. There is nothing in it that would go against a real world reality.)

When Maora was a young boy he proclaimed he would marry his best friend when they grew up. This caused his parents to laugh at both of them and say it was impossible since they were both boys. This caused his friend to run away and not talk to him for a month. This caused Maora (then Yoshitaka) to be so angry he proclaimed he would be a girl! His father who was a famous fashion designer felt bad for having made his little boy upset and said he would help him. After a few months Maora grew his hair out and had an entire wardrobe of girl outfits to wear. When he returned to school glad to meet his friend, his friend shunned him for looking like a girl. So he punched him. This was the beginning of a long friendship as well as lifestyle as a cross dresser.

In high school Maora was the treasurer for the student council in a rich prestigious school in Japan. They wore special uniforms all designed by his father and were considered the elite of the school. He spent most of his high school career part timing as the mailman in secret, as well as getting mad at his best friend for not returning his feelings. Eventually his friend even develops a crush on his mailman persona and makes him end up feeling jealous of himself. It got sorted out in the end.

After graduating school and deciding to be an accountant for his other friends family's business Maora decided to continue his studies and attend college. For the benefit of getting a worldly experience he decided to go to a school in America. Deciding it would be fun again to have a dual persona, he got a job as a part time mailman.

HOMELAND OF CHARACTER: Japan

BRIEF IN-CHARACTER JOURNAL POST: (Minimum of ten sentences in length)

Maora has finally arrived! What a long plane trip, so stuffy, and Okorimakuri kun was getting grouchy. Anyone would though, being stuck in a cat carrier. It's a little lonely to be away from everyone, but we all have to try some things on our own, right? Maora will make the best of Maora's stay here in Cross! It sounded very interesting in the pamphlets.

Now to go out and see where people hang out, it would be no fun if Maora got here and never met anyone.

BRIEF IN-CHARACTER RP SCENARIO:
(Minimum of three paragraphs in length)

Maora set his things down and looked at the apartment before him. He wouldn't be staying in any dorm, his parents had easily set up a space just for him. It was already furnished and had all the things he liked. How kind of them, they really didn't have to. Maora had been looking forward to staying in a dorm, but they thought he would feel more independent with his own place.

"Ne, Okorimakuri kun what do you think of our new place?" he said conversationally to his pet dwarf sheep. "Here, let Maora get that door open."

Once the door was open to the pet carrier Okorimakuri ran out in a huff. He was irritated and showed it. He turned his back to Maora and wiggled it before running off into the fresh apartment.

"Well... it's not Maora's fault travel is cramped," he said with a small sigh.

After grabbing himself a bite from the fridge, it had been filled in anticipation the day before, he sat down on the couch and turned the TV on to see the local news. Nothing really interested him, and after a few minutes of channel surfing he was up again.

"Okay! That's enough, time to prowl the town!"

Extra first person:
The city is bigger than Maora had assumed, though nowhere near the size of Tokyo. Less people means less overwhelming though! And it will be easier to make friends.

It's still strange to be in a new country for the first time. The city is really spacious, the buildings are large and wide. Maora could get used to this, an when I go home I'll tell everyone about it!

Oh, Maora is also going to interview for a job. Mama and Papa didn't want Maora to do it, but I thought it would be better this way. It's better to meet people and get to know the world when you work in it.

Wish me luck!
