(no subject)
So I haven't been LJing like I should lately. What's up with that? I know part of it is that I usually recap my day at Queeny's a lot and then don't feel like reposting.
Now what's new...? Uhhmmm I don't like Monk's teacher for some reason. Can't figure out what it is and I have to say I feel like I am not able to get involved like I want to. I came in and helped pretty often last year and this year I feel unwelcome. There is MAJOR drama with my family. Mom and her husband are well... sometimes I don't even know anymore what's going on with them. He's a suicidal maniac and she's scared of what will happen if she divorces him. Jaundice's promotion to "management" kicks in on Friday which means a big pay increase, sure it won't seem huge when the money goes fast but hey we could use the extra cash right now. Miss Moo is doing okay though I am starting to think she might be narcoleptic. Long story but I will keep this updated as to what comes of her weird standing while asleep in stores incidents. lol Let's just say it was not the first time but it was reeeally creepy. Gawd she's gonna be 8 in less than a month. Hard to believe me and Jaundice have been together for 8 years now. Kinda makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside and a little sick at the same time. There is this inner part of me that never wanted this kind of life- marriage, kids, pta and school events, shopping and cooking... it's surreal sometimes to have it. Sometimes that wild part of me feels trapped... thank god for having my dorky writing hobby cause it kinda lets me run without running if that makes any logical sense. I've been hanging out with B a lot since our kids are in school together. In fact last night Jaun was working late and her husband was stuck at work in Shelby so she invited me out to dinner and then we decided to run over to the Kmart and ShopKo for a little Xmas shopping. I happened to look over at Staples as we drove by and quess who I saw inside? hehe Hiiiii mtmontage peekaboo I saw you! Wish our current lifestyles worked better for us to get together and just goof off and really catch up without husbands and kids and distractions! Ahhh at least we get to say hey here online! Thank god for the net. :)
So I went with B to do a little goofing off today. It was -8 standing temp here and let me tell ya... FUCK THIS WEATHER. No one should have to walk around in this. lol I bought some stuff for Miss Moo for her birthday and wrapping paper and I actually got myself socks. I reaaallly wanted to buy Clerks II cause it was soooo funny when we saw it in the theater. Probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen in my life. But I was good and didn't buy it... I told Jaundice we could wait for it and Superman until after Xmas... guess what two movies he came home with after work tonight? lol So I think I'm gonna go here and try and get Jaun to watch clerks 2 with me. I'm feeling pretty draggy for some reason.
OH and real fast before I space it... I think I said it before but I didn't get to play Storm because the person returned to play them *rolling eyes* so I asked about playing Sage. I never even heard of her till the night this all went down but I'm now playing Sage. I ordered a couple of the X-treme X-men tpb's off amazon to help me get a better idea although I was told by the person playing Wolverine they really like the way I play her. I get the impression that means I play her different from canon but they like it so I will try and find a middle ground with what I gathered from what info was about her online and what I read when the damn trades get here. Hurry up snailman!
Anyways hope everyone is having a lovely week and getting ready for the holidays without stressing out too much.
